Madhan Gajendran has been one of the founding engineering member of Azure Cosmos DB, a globally distributed planet scale database with rich muti-model APIs, schema free indexing all combined with comprehensive SLAs. He has worked on different parts of the stack including Store and Indexing, Compute, Resource governance. He currently is evolving the storage backend of Cosmos DB to cater to scale of next gen data hungry applications/services. Prior to Cosmos DB, he worked on SQL Server, Hyper-V (Microsoft’s virtualization platform) and Windows and has been with Microsoft for more than 10 years.
