Senior Premier Field Engineer – Data Platforms, Microsoft

Sumit is working as Sr. Premier Field Engineer at Microsoft. He possesses 10+ years of experience on SQL Server and related technologies. He is mastered to work on SQL Server Engine technologies and primarily focused on tough performance problems on SQL Server and High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions. He has created or contributed to training courses and KB articles / Whitepapers for the Microsoft Knowledge base. In his current role Sumit works closely with several Microsoft customers and enable them to do more with SQL Server through PoC on latest technologies. Currently, key focus area for him is Microsoft Azure technologies viz, SQL on Azure VMs, Azure DW, SQL DB, Machine Learning & Data Analytics and enabling customer to migrate from on-premise SQL to Azure.
