  • Each batch has a different time slot.
  • Batch is synonym to time slot – so to say.
  • For example, in Batch 1, EST 1.00 am to 5.00 am = CET 7.00 am to 11.00 am = IST 11.30 am to 3.30 pm = AEDT 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Likewise, for other batches.
  • Four batches, four time slots.
  • Each batch (time slot) has four classes that run in parallel.
  • Depending on your time zone, you can choose a batch/time slot most convenient to you.
  • Then choose a class scheduled under that batch/time slot.

Here is a quick legend that may help.

Most conducive to attend. Attend LIVE and get recordings too.

Moderately conducive to attend. Attend LIVE and get recordings too.

Least conducive to attend. Yet you can register and get the recordings.

But why four hours? Aren’t these Pre-Cons supposed to be eight hours. Yes, indeed. That is why you will notice the dates of Nov 30 & Dec 1. So at DPS 2020, the Pre-Con classes will run four hours each day, for two consecutive days, Nov 30 & Dec 1. Our audience is loving this. In the virtual world, attending an 8-hr class at a stretch is a bit too much. So, we split this up and get two major benefits:

  • Benefit 1: Learning is not cramped into a single day and you have more time to grasp & stretch.
  • Benefit 2: You can balance your office work with the class, as you don’t have to take a full-day leave.

Obviously, we don’t need to give the legend to you. You know better what time works best for you. With the above legend and color coding, we have just tried to provide some indications. So, depending on which county you live in, calculate your time slot & evaluate which classes you wish to attend.

Additional Observations

  • Note the (+1) in Batch 3 & 4. As per time zone, it becomes the next day. So if you are booking a Pre-Con in Batch 4 and you live in Australia, your first day is technically Dec 1, and the second day is Dec 2. Keep the (+1) in mind.
  • Are you worrying that the conference is starting on Dec 2, so is there a clash with Batch 4? Not at all. Conference starts one hour after Batch 4 finishes.
  • So if you see, we have taken a 360-degree turn, round the globe, DPS Pre-Cons are running Round-The-Clock, Non-Stop.

There are a couple of tips we can provide.

  • Tip 1: You can book two Pre-Cons that are running back-to-back if your time zone permits you.
  • Tip 2: You can book multiple Pre-Cons. Maybe you will attend one or two of them LIVE. For remaining, you can get the recordings. Our pricing is a STEAL.

Final Summary: Just evaluate your time zone and pick the classes you wish to attend LIVE, then pick the classes for which you wish to get the recordings, then book your seat.

Conference – The Main Event (Dec 2, 3, 4 – 72 Hours. 3 Days + 3 Nights)

The conference scheduling, on the other hand, is quite simple.

  • The conference begins at 2 PM AEDT on Dec 2, Wednesday. (Which is 8.30 am IST, 4.00 am CET and 10 pm ET (Dec 1, Tuesday)).
  • Keynote starts, followed by multiple sessions in parallel tracks – Breakouts, Technical Round Tables, Open-Talks, Chalk-Talks, and a lot more.
  • And all of this continues to run round-the-clock, continuously, until Dec 4, Friday, 10 pm ET (US).
  • 72 hours non-stop. Starts from one corner of the world, ending at another. Covering every country, every time zone in between, running continuously for 3 days & 3 nights.
  • So whichever time-zone you are in, whichever country, just tune in and sessions will be going on, community zone will be active, networking will be underway – everything, as if the conference is happening in your country, in your city, in your time zone.
  • But hold on, are you worried about missing sessions? Don’t worry, you will get all the recordings at no extra cost.

Yes, this is true community-friendly & global nature of DPS 2020 and our audience is loving it.
