Azure Synapse Analytics is the first unified, cloud native platform for converged analytics. As a cloud data warehouse, Synapse provides traditional warehouse capabilities but evolves this feature set to include big data processing and data integration in a single cloud service. Synapse SQL is the ability to do T-SQL based analytics in Synapse workspace. As part of this capability, Synapse supports serverless SQL pools. In this session, we will dive into how Serverless SQL pools let you use SQL without having to reserve capacity.  You will learn how Serverless SQL pools work, how you can use the familiar T-SQL language to query data lake assets, and Serverless SQL pools use a distributed data processing system, built for large-scale data and computational functions.
