How Will The Show Run?

Data Platform Virtual Summit 2021 with its Training Classes will run Round-The-Clock, covering all time zones.

Dates – Summit from Sep 13 to 16 (spread across multiple time zones). Pre-Cons on Sep 8 & 9. Post-Cons on Sep 20 & 21.

Pre-Cons (Sep 8 & Sep 9)

Let’s start with Pre-Cons. How do the Round-The-Clock Pre-Cons run?

On Sep 8, 2021, Tuesday, Pre-Con classes will begin. There are three batches and each batch has four classes. First, let’s see the table below.

You will comprehend that:

  • Each batch has a different time slot.
  • Batch is a synonym to time slot – so to say.
  • For example, in Batch 1, EDT 03:00 AM to 07:00 AM = CEST 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM = IST 12:30 PM to 04:30 PM = AEST 05:00 PM to 09:00 PM. Likewise, for other batches.
  • Three batches, three time slots.
  • Each batch (time slot) has four classes that run in parallel.
  • Depending on your time zone, you can choose a batch/time slot most convenient to you.
  • Then choose a class scheduled under that batch/time slot.
  • Click Here to see the full list.

Here is a quick legend that may help.

Most conducive to attend. Attend LIVE and get recordings too.

Moderately conducive to attend. Attend LIVE and get recordings too.

Least conducive to attend. Yet you can register and get the recordings.

But why four hours? Aren’t these Pre-Cons supposed to be eight hours? Yes, indeed. That is why you will notice the dates of Sep 8 & Sep 9. So, at DPS 2021, the Pre-Con classes will run four hours each day, for two consecutive days, Sep 8 & Sep 9. Our audience loved this format last year. In the virtual world, attending an 8-hr class at a stretch is a bit too much. So, we split this up and get two major benefits:

  • Benefit 1: Learning is not cramped into a single day and you have more time to grasp & stretch.
  • Benefit 2: You can balance your office work with the class, as you don’t have to take a full-day leave.

Obviously, we don’t need to give the legend to you. You know better what time works best for you. With the above legend and color coding, we have just tried to provide some indications. So, depending on which county you live in, calculate your time slot & evaluate which classes you wish to attend.

There are a couple of tips we can provide.

  • Tip 1: You can book two Pre-Cons that are running back-to-back if your time zone permits you.
  • Tip 2: You can book multiple Pre-Cons. Maybe you will attend one or two of them LIVE. For remaining, you can get the recordings. Our pricing is a STEAL.

Final Summary: Just evaluate your time zone and pick the classes you wish to attend LIVE & the ones you wish to get recordings for, then book your seat.
